The Committee on Community Health Services (COCHS)
The Committee on Community Health Services is committed to developing policy that support pediatricians involved in the community. The Committee also has several sub-committees that specifically address eliminating disparities, immunizations, and Culturally Effective Pediatric Care.
COCHS is committed to several issues including health disparities, culturally effective pediatric care, and immunizations. The policy statement, Improving Immunizations, developed by COCHS and the Committee on Practice and Ambulatory Medicine (COPAM) is scheduled for release in the October 2003 issue of Pediatrics.

Additionally, the COCHS Subcommittee on Immunizations serves as the Project Advisory Group (PAC) to the Childhood Immunization Support Program (CISP), an AAP program that provides resources and technical assistance on immunization issues to help pediatricians and others communicate about issues around immunizations.
