Community Pediatrics Teleconferences
"Identifying Assets in
Your Community" Teleconference
Wednesday, August 31, 2005
11:00 am Central Time
This teleconference will provide information on how child health
community-based projects can identify assets in communities and
individuals. The presentation will cover how to identify and work
with associations and institutions in the community, how parents
are partners in this process, and where to find resources for
asset-based community development. In addition, two current community-based
projects will discuss their experience in identifying assets,
one at the community level and the other at the individual level.
At the end of this Web-based teleconference, there will be a question/answer
session.
