This annotated bibliography directs individuals to resources
that address the discipline of community pediatrics. Included
are studies of community-based pediatric training and projects,
curriculum guidelines and learning objectives for medical students
and faculty, and commentaries from leaders in the field of community
pediatrics. Although multiple views about the application of community
pediatrics exist, authors cited in this bibliography agree that
the positive outcomes of this kind of care outweigh the barriers
to implementation.
