2005 Healthy Tomorrows Training Meeting

The 2005 Healthy Tomorrows Training Meeting was held September 14 & 15, 2005 at the Chicago Marriott Schaumburg. Over 110 grantee project staff attended 12 plenary and break out sessions focusing on topics related to Healthy Tomorrows grant projects.

Meeting Objectives:

  1. To provide networking opportunities among grantees of the Healthy Tomorrows program.
  2. To develop and present educational sessions focused on a variety of topics relevant to Healthy Tomorrows grantees, including health literacy, program evaluation, mental health, oral health, advocacy and advisory board development.
  3. To foster the relationship between grantees and Healthy Tomorrows staff from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the federal Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB).
  4. To increase grantee knowledge of resources available to them through fellow grantees, the AAP and the MCHB.
